Flowpaper is a universal physics-based art app that allows you to use the fingertips to create own beautiful images on the iPad. It's useful to make a personal wallpaper for your iOS device. With recently update, the app includes the option for undoing the changes.

Flowpaper makes anything I draw pretty. It's fun to play, simple and very creative. I draw with a single finger, and then the line appears and follows what I trace. The curves flow all over the screen and looks mesmerizing. Really love this interactive app. But it often crashes while I am tring to save on my original iPad.

iPad won't restore after updated to iOS 5

I have updated my iPad 1 to iOS 5. When I try to restore my data from my backup, the process runs for about 5 minutes and I get message "An error occurred while restoring this iPad (-1)". Then I click OK button and it says "iTunes could not restore the iPad because an error occured."

How to fix the issue on iOS 5
* Set up your iPad as a new device and go to sync everything in iTunes.
* After the sync is complete, select your device on the left in iTunes. Then selecte restore from backup and choose the older version.

Missing Safari thumbnail views on iPad iOS 5

After I upgraded my iPad 2 to iOS 5.0.1, I note that Safari is missing the thumbnail view icon in either portrait or landscape. But I can get thumbnails in iOS 4.2 version. Is there a way to bring back website thumbnails? I hate using the tabs in safafi. I can't remember so many Safari Tab clutter with page titles. How can I do that?

In iOS 5, Safari has tabbed browsing, without thumbnails. You can open a new tab or page by using the "+" to the right of the tab names.

Waze GPS & traffic is a cute traffic & navigation app for iPad. It offers real-time road monitoring and a 100% live map. The voice turn-by-turn directions are very easy to follow and works great. The app is also a social app. You can report traffic jam, accident, police traps to other drivers on the road. With the interactivity of other users, quickly find issues well ahead of your destination.

The Waze app is better than Google Maps. It does have all features of a dedicated GPS receiver. I have been using it on my way to work for a month. It really help me find the easiest way anywhere. But you can't disable the alert reports by others.

How to Play HBO GO from iPad 2 to TV

I have HBO GO app on my iPad 2 and really love it. I want to play HBO GO from iPad to my TV via HDMI adapter, but I can't figure out how to do that.

According to the official website, the app currently doesn't support an external connection from iPad/iPhone to a TV for watching. But you can try the following step by step tutorial:

* You need to buy HDMI connector from the Apple store.
* Attach Apple HDMI adapter to your receiver via an HDMI cable, and plug in iPad device.
* Tap HBO GO, select the video you want to watch, and play it in horizontal. Then use iPad Home button to close the app.
* Rotate through input source of the receiver untill you get back to your HDMI input.
* You will see that iPad Home screen is showing over there.
* Tap HBO GO, and you are able to play the video & audio on TV screen.

Shuffle songs by artist on iPad iOS 5

After my iPad 2 was updated to iOS 5, I got an issue with music app. When I chose my desired Artist in iPod app and wanted to listen to all the songs in shuffle by one Artist in multiple Albums, I noted there wasn't a "Shuffle All" option. If I shuffled one song, it only shuffled within one Album.

How to fix the issue on iPad
* There is a search bar in the bottom right corner of the music app. Search the name of the band and a list of all songs by this artist will be created. Now you can do that.
* You can also try using the Planetary app.
