iPad 3 release date rumors

Apple will announce the iPad 3 and iOS 5.1 at a special media event in early February.

Apple's Suppliers is getting ready to ship 6-7 million high-res LCD panels for iPad 3 in the first quarter of this year. The displays will be 9.7-inch QXGA panels and be twice the resolution of the current iPad 2.

iPad 3 will feature quad-core processor, so it will be able to perform more multitask operations. And it could include 4G LTE connectivity. 4G LTE with speeds up to 10x faster than 3G. That's exciting.
