Change iMessage font size on iPad

My iMessages works fine on my iPad and the text is normal. On my friend's iPad 2, iMessages is with realy big font size. That's weard and I can't find any option to change it.

Unfortunately, iMessages app doesn't offer this option. But you can do that using the accessibility features.
* On Home Screen, tap Settings > General > Accessibility.
* Check "Large Text", and select your desired font size from the list.

Podcasts play at half speed on iPad iOS 5

After I updated my original iPad WiFi only to iOS 5, podcasts was palying at half speed and no way to change it. The iOS 4.3 version has a 1x, 2x and 1/2x playback control button, but now the option to change the playback speed is gone. I notes that there are many problems with this upgrade and with iCloud. My iPad 2 also has exactly the same problem. How can I fix the issue in the music player app?

This is a big issue. You can at least reset it to 1X speed, and the switch to 2X is still gone. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings, and then the podcast playback speed will be back to normal.

Error 3259 with iOS 5 updating on iPad

When I try to download the iOS 5 update to my iPad 2, I get the error code 3259 while "processing files". My computer is runnning Windows 7 with Kaspasky. Try rebooting the devices, turning off antivirus and Firewall software, all to no avail.

Talking Pierre the Parrot is one of the best taking apps yet. Talking Pierre, living in Talking Tom's kitchen, is a very energetic and lively parrot. When you talk to Pierre, he combines different parts of your sentences to create new funny ones.

The app is funny and the Pierre is soo adorable. It keeps a smile on my face. When I touch his ears, his eyes will pop out. If he says something wrong and talking tom will comes in and corrects him. But there is not lots of stuff to do.

Mini Motor Racing HD for iPad

Mini Motor Racing HD is a vibrant, super-charged racing game for iPad. With your skills and cars upgraded, you can own unique handling and style. It supports many race types and allows you play multiplayer against your friends or rivals.

The racing is light-hearted, simple and fun, but pretty pricey. The graphics is fantastic, even on my iPad 1. But it crashes after completing a track.

Airprint not working on Windows and iOS 5

I could print to my HP 3050 printer on the WiFi network from my Windows machine and iPad 2. Since I upgraded to iOS 5, airprint doesn't work on windows 7 and iPad doesn't find any printer. This issue is an unacceptable practice from Apple.

* Make sure you are an administrator on the PC.
* Click Start > Run > type "sc.exe delete Airprint", press Enter, and then type the following 2 commands at the command Prompt:

sc.exe create AirPrint binPath= "C:\Program Files\AirPrint\airprint.exe -R _ipp._tcp,_universal -s" depend= "Bonjour Service" start= auto

sc.exe start Airprint

* If there is a lock icon next to the printer name, you need to enable the guest account.

iPad music fades in and out on iOS 5

When I am using the iPod app on my iPad 2 with iOS 5, the music periodically fades in and out randomly during playback. It happens during a song. That makes it impossible for me to use the iPod app and seems like a software issue.

Today I notes that it happens if you're downloading songs in the background. When I am listening to music and downloading my purchases music from iCloud at the same time, the music would fade out and fade back. Once the downloads are finished, the audio becomes fine again.

City Guides app is friendly, perfectly curated and beautifully made. I find that there're goop's much-loved and often undiscovered spots. The videos in the app takes a long time to load, but it's worth waiting for. Everything you need. If it adds more cities, that would be better.

Cannot access Newsstand store on iPad

After updating my iPad to iOS 5, I can't access the Newsstand store. I had it all installed correctly, but the "Store" button is always greyed out. There is only the New York Times in the library and I cann't add others to the newsstand app.

If you have the same issue, press the home and hold buttons at the same time for shutting down, and then hold the button again until the apple logo appears. Fix the problem.

Manage iPad multiple email signatures on iOS 5

I'm using personal and business account for email and have update my iPad 2 to iOS 5, but there is no way to manage multiple email signatures. I just want to have different signatures for each account. How can I do that?

The iOS 5 is still officially lacking support for this feature. Apple hasn't made that option available.

If you need to do that, you can try the tip. Tap Setting > General > Keyboard, and use "Add New Shortcut…" to create many keyboard shortcuts for each different signature. You can also use Mail Enhancer to get custom signatures for per email accounts on jailbroken iPad.

iPad 3 release date is February 2012

According to rumors, the iPad 3 will become available in March or April. The first Apple tablet release on April 3, 2010 and the iPad 2 launch on March 11, 2011, so the iPad 3 hit the market around same time as first two iPads.

iBooks updated with new Themes, Full-screen mode

Apple has updated its iBooks application for the iPad to Version 1.5. The update includes Nighttime and Sepia themes and several new fonts to choose from. You can choose to read in full-screen mode with removing the toolbar, page numbers, and other distractions.

The iBooks app also brings beautiful new classic covers for classic titles, popup footnote support, and an improved annotation system. This's a good update.

Airplay Mirroring is very slow

I have updated both my iPad 2 and Apple TV 2 to iOS 5 and my router is wireless N. When I get the mirroring to show up on Apple TV, it is extreamly slow and jerky, even the sound. How can I fix this?

* The mirroring requires more bandwidth, even other activity on the network can cause issues.
* Make sure there aren't any other apps running in the background on your device.

Snoopy’s Street Fair is a cute and fun game that let you help Snoopy build and organize a street fair, such as decorate Charlie Brown’s neighborhood and fill it with wonderful stalls. The app includes 21 PEANUTS characters and 3 mini-games to unlock. Lovely graphics and fun gameplay.

Snoopy’s Street Fair has most of the Peanuts characters, including Linus, Lucy, Woodstock, Marcie, Franklin, Schroeder, etc. But it's not truly a free game. I feels like it forces you to buy in game cash to get more of the characters.

mGifts - Gift List Manager for iPad

mGifts is a Gift List Manager app that helps you to plan and track your gift giving needs for Christmas, Hanukkah, birthdays, anniversaries and any other special events. With the app, you can customize which stores you shop at, view your gift list, attach a photo to a gift, sorts gifts and share your list by email.

mGifts is easy to use and does more than I hpped. The app has already helped me greatly get organized for the holiday. But I have to create separate listes on my iPad and iPhone, because it isn't able to synch between devices.
