I have got a Pogo Sketch on Amazon about a month ago. The stylus is made of a aluminum alloy and comes in pink. It is very useful for using drawing-painting type apps and apps like brushes. I had use it all the time for drawing with the OmniSketch App.

But if you need a stylus for note taking, this accessory is not that great for you. The point sometimes does not catch, so you have to go over what you tried to do again. I really want to be able to write just like I do on paper, but it is very hard to write small fonts on the iPad.

iPad just Stuck in the iBooks store

After I finished downloading two books, my iPad was stuck in the iBooks store and could not return to the library.

To fix this issue, hold down the Power and Home button until the Apple logo appears. Then the iPad will reboot.

I have some Acrobat PDf files that I store in Dropbox and then I open them into iBooks on my iPad. PDFs are all called "Untitled" and I can't find a way to rename them. The iBooks app can only delete PDFs. How can I rename them in iBooks?

iPad 2nd generation will most likely be shipping in March 2011. The first-generation iPad has sold out or on sale at some European retailers.

The iPad price drop in Europe Orange and T-Mobile. You can now get an iPad 3G in Europe for only ￡99.99. Ingram Micro, which is Major European product distributor, is now sold out of the iPad 16GB/64GB WiFi-only model and 64 GB WiFi + 3G model. The 32GB WiFi-only model, 32 GB WiFi+3G model, and 16 GB WiFi+3G model are low on stock.

Do that suggest iPad 2 is coming? Will iPad 2 hit sometime next month?

iPad 2 camera is stuck

I had no problem to take a few pictures and several videos by using iPad 2 camera. But today when I tap the camera icon, the shutter is stuck in the closed position and camera app won't take any pictures or videos.

Restoring iPad 2 to the factory default seems to fix the shutter issue. If you still can not fix the problem, taking it back for a replacement.

iPad Pages An error has occurred and Pages must close

When I try to open a document in Pages on my iPad, I gets the error message "An error has occurred and Pages must close". The document was created natively in pages, and has 23 page with lots of tables and screen captures. Now I can not open it or send it to iTunes. But I try to send another document file to iTunes, it works.

After pages app updated to 1.3.1, it doesn't fix the problem. How to retrieve the document? Any suggestions?

I need IN-App. Specifically it doesn't support off-line mode.

iPad video stuck in 2X mode

My video app is freezing. I can't pinch it down to normal size, because my iPad gets stuck in the 2X video mode.

You need to force quitting. Try pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button for 6 seconds until a red slider appears, then press and hold the Home button until the app quits.

My iPad WiFi works perfectly when connecting to my router with SSID broadcasting. But if turned the id broadcast off, the iPad will not connect.

To join and connect to a closed network, you must know the network name, password, and security type. Tap Settings > Wi-Fi > Other, type your network name and password. Then tap Security and choose the type of security the network uses.

Pandora dropout using airplay

When I stream Pandora from my iPad to Apple tv by using airplay, I just get sound dropout. There is a strong WI-FI signal from airport extreme dual band and Pandora works fine on iPad.

Update the firmware for Airport Utility.

Now Pandora with airplay works perfect for me.

Blue Airplay and music not working on iPad

When I play music from my iPad with Airplay to an Airport Express, Airplay icon turns blue and music stops playing on the iPad. but both photos and YouTube work fine.

Then I go to Setting and signing out of the iTunes store, Airplay seems to work on my iPad.

Keynote file size limitation on iPad

My iPad had been updated to iOS4.2 and installed keynote 1.3. When I tried to copy a powerpoint presentation that was plenty of photos Keynote over using iDisk, I got the error message:

This file is too large
This file can not be viewed on your iPad because it is over 30MB.

In fact, iDisk and Dropbox seems to be limited to 30MB. You can transfer keynote docs from a computer to your iPad using iTunes. Or try the GoodReader app for iPad.

If you still can't repair it, I think you need to get a mechanic to look at it. If it is broken badly, you just need a new one.
