After I updated from 4.3.5 to 5.0 on my iPad 2, the built-in apps(Safari and Calendar) work fine but other apps will not load. It simply keeps crashing and then is back to the home screen. How to fix the issue?
You need to open up the App Store on your device and update all the apps you have purchased. The problem seems to be resolved. If all apps have completely updated and still crash, delete one of your apps at a time and re-install it from App store.

I think i had the exact same problem its probably a flaw or some sort of feature.
ReplyDeletetry these steps it worked for me :)
1-Reboot Device
2-Download a free app then pause it or delete it after downloading.
If they still didn't work check that the account (Apple ID) on your iPad is the same account on your iTunes and activate your iPad if not activated.
that's it, good luck!
Same problem i was facing with my new iPad2 version 5.0.1, couldn't find any suggestion, but i tried a new app from app store to check whether the new app will work out or not, once i got the new app, the previous ones which was not opening started working, and I'm pretty sure this is the only easy steps you can go for, as i have tried many other steps of rebooting, restoring, blah blah blah.....
ReplyDeletebest of luck to you all.....
yes exactly it works must be a quirk who knows but it did work...
ReplyDeleteIt didn't work dude......!
ReplyDeleteI'm having the same issue. All apps are up to date and I tried installing a free app and no go. The only app that is crashing is Calendar.
ReplyDeleteI just deleted on of the apps then re downloaded and suddenly all of them worked... quirky, but i'm gladd i didn't have to do them all!
