I extremely love the reader feature in Safari on iOS 5, but the tabbed browsing simply takes too much space from the screen on my iPad. The older safari on iOS 4 for tabs was a whole lot better. How to disable tab bar in Safari?
Unfortunately, you can't. Is there a way to get the old thumbnail viewer back by jailbreaking iOS 5?

Couldn't agree more, screen is too small for tabs to describe each site.... chaulk up one more vote for thumbnail veiw!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. But i found out that you can download a new web browser for the iPad called iCab Mobile and its a much better browser than Safari could ever bet. You can get the old thumbnail viewer back and choose to have tabs or not.
