My iPad 2 is connected to a LED TV over HDMI cable. I want to use the iPad as a rear seat entertainment center and use my iPhone 4 to control videos, such as fast forward video or scroll through the playing content.
To use the iPhone to remotely control iPad, first you have to jailbreak your iPad. Then install the VNC Server app called Veency on the iPad, and use a VNC client app from the app store on the iPhone.
After basically setup and done, you can control iPad from iPhone. This is perfect for watching movies.
