I have bought an HP Photosmart Plus B 210a. Both iPhone 4 and iPad are running iOS 4.3 software. The iPhone has no problem with AirPrint and documents come are printed immediately. The iPad recognizes the printer and I can select it when attempting to print, but it doesn't print.
How to fix the AirPrint issus
On the iPad's Home Screen, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings and reboot the iPad. It works great now.

I have the same problem after installing 4.3 update. iPrint worked with iOS 4.2. Tried your recommendation with no success.
ReplyDeleteHP-6500a-Plus is recognized. When I attempt to print, pop-up indicates "contacting printer"
Your suggestion to reset network settings was unsuccessful.
Any ideas?
I have an HP C310 and your recommendation worked for me - thank you
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks - the network reset on the iPad did the last part of the trick :-)
ReplyDeleteAnother important part was to enable "multicast" on the access point.
