My iPad Keynote slideshow auto-advancing

When I played Keynote slideshow on my iPad, the presentation played quickly and can't stop playing. I could not control the slides advancing or pause it. How can I manually control it?

Here is a better solution.
1. In upper-right corner of screen, tap animation button and select slide by slide.
2. Click the > button and select in the Start Transition Option.
3. Select "On Tap".
