The iPad device has support for TV out. iPod models supporting TV out can support viewing on a television.
How to connect and enable TV out.
1. Connect your iPad to TV with an iPad tv out cable.
2. Use the following settings to set up your iPad plays videos on your TV.
Tap Settings > ipod. Turn widescreen on.
Choose iPod > TV Signal and select NTSC or PAL that depends on where you bought TV(NTSC displays 480i and PAL displays 576i).

There is no Widescreen option under Settings > iPod on the iPad - at least not on mine.
Am I missing something?
same here i have an ipad 2. there's no option
ReplyDeleteJust tried it and mine doesn't have a widescreen option either. Am I missing something or are these directions not correct. I am still not able to watch tv from my iPad.
